I am Teacher Mom, Teacher Verna, Honorary Grandmother, or simply Verna. I enjoy many hobbies: floral design, painting, remodeling, writing, gardening, and so much more. I have many experiences based in decades of living giving me the confidence that we can find much to talk about, or we can use reading materials or games to build a more solid vocabulary in a natural setting. So, let the conversations begin!
I have a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Montana as well as a Master’s Degree from Liberty University. Not only have I lived in Germany briefly and in America for the remainder, I have lived online assisting non-native English speakers improve their language skills 7 days a week for over 8 years. It’s amazing to me that everyday, I can travel virtually around the world. But I also enjoy travelling and seeing the wonderful blend of people, languages, and cultures in person.
Currently, I have access to over 8,000 online books on various levels, as well as a variety of games to keep the English language from becoming boring while assisting to build vocabulary for more natural conversations going forward. I can travel through Zoom or Voov, or depending on location, in person as well.
